Those who have felt the full rath of the outback and suffered a punctured sump going over rocks, or had a thick branch mercilously fling up and jam between drive shafts, will be the first to appreciate the benefit of such protection.

Constructed from 3mm cold rolled steel, and finished in black electroplating, each Underguard® is build to withstand 10 rounds from a Russian tank and walk away laughing. Furthermore, all bolt hole recesses are reinforced with 3mm cold rolled steel shields to prevent them being torn out or damaged when making contact with terrain or objects.

The Under-body Vehicle Protection vehicle specific suitable for Toyota Prado 150 Series are design to give you the protection you need when tackling the toughest terrain.

Being an IFS vehicle the Prado 150 has many vulnerable components that if damaged could leave you stranded often in remote locations. 150 Series Prado owners will know the front diff casing sits at the lowest point at the front as a perfect target to take a severe frontal impact. The Brown Davis under-body protection plates completely cover the diff and with a reinforced channel at the front are designed to take that initial impact.

Ramp over angles are very important in all vehicles yet non more so then the Prado 150 Series. With a transfer case and 4WD actuator that hangs down right in the vehicles ramp over, underbody protection is critical. The Brown Davis rear guard is deigned to protect these components when crawling over the steepest ruts. Being 3mm thick they also create a perfect shield from sticks, roots and stumps that regularly get caught under the vehicle.
